Oklahoma’s Promise (previously called OHLAP) pays for a student’s college tuition in the state of Oklahoma.
Oklahoma’s Promise allows eighth-, ninth- or 10th-grade students from families with an income of $50,000 or less to earn a college tuition scholarship. Students must also meet academic and conduct requirements in high school. St the time of entry into college, parents must prove they are making less than $100,000.
Students may come by the counselor’s office to pick up an application or apply online at: http://okhighered.org/okpromise/about.shtml.
If doing the online form, parents must mail in the required tax documents.
